Country Stars Dedicate Special Deer Stand to Troy Gentry

This year's Opry Duck Hunt was missing one beloved participant: Troy Gentry. The Montgomery Gentry member lost his life in a helicopter crash last year. But his fellow Grand Ole Opry members have made sure he'll always be a part of the annual event.

Craig Morgan, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Chris Janson, Marty Roe of Diamond Rio and John Conlee posed for a photo in front of Gentry's favorite deer stand.

It now has the Batman logo attached to its green canvas, a nod to Troy's favorite superhero. During his memorial service at the Grand Ole Opry House, a Batman costume was also placed right next to Gentry's casket.

Although Gentry's unexpected death was a huge shock to the country music community, the impact of his career lives on. Eddie Montgomery has chosen to continue touring in memory of Gentry. He made a surprise appearance at the 2017 CMA Awards to perform their hit "My Town" with Rascal Flatts and Dierks Bentley.

The duo's final record together, Here's To You, will be released on Feb. 2.
