Sam Coates graduated from the University of Iowa in May of 2022 with a degree in Marketing Management. Shortly after graduation, Sam moved to Nashville Tennessee where he co-founded a digital media and marketing company (Drifters Media) with his business partner Kyle Barnes. Through Drifters Media Sam has had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients such as Ducks Unlimited, the Like a Farmer Podcast, Cabelas, Fowl Life TV, the NWTF, and more. With such an extensive background working in the outdoor space, writing for Wide Open Country is the perfect fit for Sam.
