Watch Kevin Costner and His Band Perform Sold-Out Shows in Wyoming

Costner's band even has a "Yellowstone"-inspired album.

It's been a while since "Yellowstone" fans have seen John Dutton onscreen, but the man behind the character, Kevin Costner, was recently near Yellowstone National Park — in Jackson Hole, Wyoming — for a fun reason. Last week, the actor played two sold-out shows at Jackson's famed Million Dollar Cowboy Bar with his band, Kevin Costner & Modern West.

The venue announced the shows — which took place Oct. 18 and 19 — about a week before the band was set to take the stage. Costner shared a photo of the Jackson Hole landmark with his band's name written on the marquee before the star of the first show.

"Excited for tonight! Let's go," he wrote alongside the post.

The shows were undoubtedly unique and intimate, as the bar seats a total of 476 people. Although Costner has yet to share video footage from the show itself, he did share a brief clip from rehearsals. In the video, Costner plays guitar and sings with a woman some commenters have identified as his daughter, Lily.

"Rehearsing for night 2 at @milliondollarcowboybar tonight," he wrote in the caption.

Costner then shared a video montage from the two nights at the venue after the close of the second show.

"The band and I had a truly incredible couple of nights playing at @milliondollarcowboybar," he wrote. "I always love to be in Jackson Hole, where the hospitality is as legendary as this honky tonk's saddled barstools. Thank you for showing us a good time!"

Kevin Costner & Modern West formed in 2007 and have released four albums, including 2020's "Yellowstone"-inspired Tales from Yellowstone.

Costner's latest shows with his band comes after his farewell from beloved Paramount Networks, "Yellowstone," on which he starred for five seasons. The show will end after the forthcoming Season 5 Part 2, which does not have a premiere date yet.
