Austinite Whitney Rose just unleashed the new video for her brand new song "Better To My Baby," and it perfectly captures Rose's country soul sound. Rocking a 1960s era beehive hairdo and getup, Rose waxes poetic about being a better girlfriend.

Unfortunately, she's too late this time. The "baby" in the song already moved on, and she's left knowing he's happier with another girl, who Rose is offering the advice to.
Rose stands in a white room singing the song. In the background, video made to look retro flashes on the walls. Then, it intercuts Rose's impassioned hindsight apology. The memories of the good times contrast the lonesome lyrics.

Whitney Rose's "Better To My Baby" Lyrics
I know he's yours now
He don't belong to me
And I'll even try not to cry
When I see you together walking down the street
Just be kind
Blow his mind
Try to make him happy all the time
Be better to my baby than me
I was a fool to
Love him in anyway
And I know he's gone
I know he's yours
That's a reality I can't escape
Just be kind
Blow his mind
Try to make him happy all the time
Be better to my baby than me
What I wouldn't do
To make us happy again
What I wouldn't give
To have him back here in my bed
What I wouldn't give
To make us happy again
What I wouldn't give
To have him back here in my bed
You hold the world when
You hold his hand
So don't you break that heart of gold
Just be thankful every day that he's your man
Be kind
Blow his mind
Try to make him happy all the time
Be better to my baby than me
Be better to my baby than me
