Winter Fruit Salad
Enjoy all of the winter fruits in this Winter Fruit Salad served with a Maple-Lime Dressing. This salad will make the perfect winter breakfast.
Ingredients
- 2 apples, chopped
- 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1 cup chopped pineapple
- 1 banana, sliced
- 2 clementine or mandarin oranges, sectioned
For The Dressing
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix together the apples, kiwis, pomegranate seeds, pineapple, banana and oranges.
- In a small bowl whisk together the maple syrup and lime juice. Pour over the fruit and toss gently. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve.
Notes
Serve this salad right away to prevent the fruit from turning brown.
This makes a beautiful Christmas morning dish.
