Ever since I was 15, I have worked in the service industry. In high school, I worked the seafood restaurant circuit on Kent Island, Maryland, known for its blue crabs. I've shown many a person how to open crabs with just a butter knife (I am anti-crab mallet, but more on that later). After that, I worked in a boutique through college, helping girls unsure of themselves find dresses that made them feel amazing. And finally, in Boulder, Colorado, I worked at Great Harvest Bakery, slicing some of the best bread I've ever had. All of this is to say that I know the service industry well.
