Zach Bryan found himself in hot water with the law on two different occasions last week — one of which ended in an arrest and charge for "obstructing an investigation." Bryan's girlfriend, Brianna Chickenfry, shared a tongue-in-cheek response to the news. On her second TikTok account, which bears the username @ihatebriannachickenfy, the podcast host shared a simple clip singing along to Britney Spears' 2011 song, "Criminal."

Chickenfry looks at the camera with a smile as the song plays, and she even begins to sing along. She didn't share a caption or explanation to go along with the video, but fans surmise that the clip is Chickenfry's way of responding/poking fun at her boyfriend's arrest.
"Mama I'm in love with a criminal / And this type of love isn't rational, it's physical," Spears sings in the tune.

Bryan was arrested on Vinita, Oklahoma on Thursday, Sept. 7. According to Bryan's own account — which was later backed up by a police report and dash cam video — the singer and his security guard were en route in separate vehicles to Boston, Mass. when his guard was pulled over for speeding. He was reportedly going 78MPH in a 55MPH zone. While an Oklahoma Highway Patrol officer was speaking to his security guard, Bryan got out of his car. The officer ordered Bryan to get back into his car, and when he didn't comply, he was handcuffed and put in the front seat of the officer's cruiser.
In a clip Bryan uploaded to social media prior to the release of the police report and dash cam footage, the singer admits to "mouthing off" t0 the officer once inside the vehicle. The footage confirms this, as Bryan shares his opinion about his situation while in the car.
"Second time this has happened in three days," he said during the arrest. "These f--king cops are out of [hand], truly."
"You boys need checked, a bunch of f—ing middle aged white dudes arresting people," he also uttered.
The singer was also put in handcuffs days earlier after not sharing his address with an officer.
In the end, Bryan said he "cooled off" and ended up shaking hands with the officer who arrested him. He shared support for law enforcement after the ordeal.
"Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said," he said in his video statement. "I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize. They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around. Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I'm just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers."
